I just smoked it for the first time and I’m super high. Can’t believe how high I am off that little bit of grass. So all you guys talking about how great dry herb vaping is, I see you and I think I’m a changed man.
Hang on to the vaped herb it’s great for edibles. It’s decarbed so it’s ready to use and like 90% as strong as purposely decarbed fresh herb.
Vaping is so ridiculously efficient when compared to smoking.
Can I eat it right out of there like granola
Yes you absolutely can. Mix it with yogurt, put it in blender with a fruit smoothie, spread it over some toast and nutilla. Put it in pill capsules and lock down a dose.
Process it into cannaoil, cannabutter, or tincture. Use that to make edibles, or you can pain relief THC topicals with menthol, some of whatever natural essential oils you buy into, and a touch of lidocaine for your elderly relatives.
The golden brown substance that will build up in your mouthpiece is pure reclaim oil similar to what you get with dabbing concentrate. You can make stem milk if you feel comfortable putting the glass mouthpiece in simmering milk. You can also use a hairdryer and try to drip it out as a lesser quality reclaim dab.
That’s so rad lmfao
Yeah you can really use every part of the buffalo.
Sprinkling some on a peanut butter sandwich is my go to
Y’all are DESPERATE, and I’m here for it 😁
You could, but your stomach acid will break down a lot of the thc. That’s part of why edibles are so inconsistent. Best to mix it with food or steep it into something fatty to extract it.
Preach On!
Hahahahaha fucking finally.
Lmfao when I posted this I chuckled to myself and told Mrs Bizzle, “my boy Frosty is going to get a kick out of this, watch”
I’m just glad it lived up to the hype. My opinion means fuck all and I just like to give you a hard time. Your satisfaction with the device and the experience is way more important mate.
Now suddenly I feel like I need one of them ball chain grinders 🤔
Uh oooooh… my mans bizzle finally pulled the trigger!? Hyped to see it, Im sure you and the Crafty will get quite familiar with each other over the next thousand hits. Go and turn that green to brown black! May you only occasionally kiss the dragon when you aren’t meaning to ;) One of us, one of us, one of us!
Love my Crafty, but I’ve loaned it out, so I’m just using the Mighty for now.
My mighty’s batteries are finally giving out after 7 years
if only we could get the lemmy vaporents ball rolling.
I’m tryna keep c/[email protected] alive feel free to contribute
I’ve never had a dry vaporizer before, so I’m looking to buy my first. Anyone have any suggestions for information resources or specific products I should be looking at? Someone mentioned the TinyMight 2, but it doesn’t really seem like an entry level model. But maybe I should just go for the best.
I tend to consume smaller amounts of cannabis at a time, so a model that has flexibility in terms of hit size would be ideal.
https://fuckcombustion.com/ is a good resource for discussions. I agree with the other poster that Dynavap is a good starting point. There is some learning curve to get the process dialed in, but it’s not too hard. If you want something electric, Planet of the Vapes Lobo is decent. Though, I do think it’s probably worth putting that money toward the Tinymight2. I have had probably 20 vaporizers in the last 10 years and the TM2 is about all I use anymore. If you enjoy using them at home, I really recommend going through water.
The dynavap B Is a great budget entry device into the dry herb vaping world. If you like vaping you can upgrade to a nicer DV or move to a fancier more expensive electric vape. If you don’t, you are only out like 50$. Theres the vaphits if you want even more budget friendly Chinese knockoff DV.
Even their torches are cheap. I expected a capitalistic “our main products are cheap but we getcha on the extras” but was pleasantly surprised by their torches. Thanks!
Just wait until you try a modern device :)
Any suggestions?
Depends on what you’re after and the budget but in general things have progressed a lot.
In the area of portable electric vapes you’re probably not going to find anything more versatile than TinyMight 2. It hits like a truck, provides great flavour, has a decent replaceable battery and is tube loaded which is just convenient. It is also a bit pricey so I wouldn’t recommend it as a first vape ever. If you tried something older or more budget oriented and liked it then you’ll probably love it though. In the end you’re probably going to end up with one anyway.
As a counterpoint I need to mention that TM2 made cannabis both too good and too easy. I sold mine and went with butane vapes because they require a bit more ritual and are more micro dosing friendly.
I’ve been using PAX 3 extensively for the past 7 years and I honestly don’t know what they could possibly upgrade. If it broke, I’d probably get an identical one (if they still make them).
I started out with Pax 3 and I won’t be knocking on it. It’s great portable that fits in your pocket which is very convenient. Taste and battery are okay, especially given the size. The only real downside is cleaning because vapor path goes through the device rather than being isolated into an external stem but that’s the price of portability. But there’s just no comparison on how much oomph you get for the same amount of flower.
I think there are some controversies on build quality and warranty claims with Pax on the latest models (Pax Plus) but that Pax 3 is an indestructible tank so hold on to it :)
I think I used a pax 3 as first vape years ago. Off the top of my head IIRC: Pax has
-
proprietary charger not USBC
-
built in battery that you can’t easily swap when it degrades
-
strange magnetically fixed herb chamber on the bottom that doesnt cook evenly
-
a wierd flashing led light indicator to tell you the state of your device and three preset heat options instead of proper temp controls with exact values and configurable heat zones
-
a mouthpiece that isnt 18mm/14mm/8mm glass insert compatable (I think?)
The pax is an ancient and overpriced vape that hasnt innovated in over a decade. Theres a whole new world of competion. Vapcaps, convection+conduction hybrids, injection ball vapes. When your pax gives out do yourself a favor and look at other options like the arizer solo 3.

I’m guessing the tinymight2 isn’t the most modern but if we’re going with recommendations… it’s still upper tier and wonderful.
You can also revape by turning up the temperature.
Stay up 👍
I had a vape, but it and an e nail I got for my bong didn’t survive being plugged into a charger even once. Whatever voltage regulator has to be like 5¢ to add to the build but they all cheap out. If it’s electronic and for smoking weed, it better be cheap, because it will break if you sneeze on it
