    I think you misunderstood what I mean by getting hot. I don’t mean you’ll feel the device itself getting hot and therefore be bothered. I mean the internal chip that handles charging gets so hot it can fry itself and harm it’s own longevity.

      Yeah I hear you, do you use an oldschool charger rather than a modern high wattage one? Mine got hot with one charger but I swapped to a lower wattage one. It definitely doesn’t perform a proper USB C handshake.
