Hey all! I nuked my reddit account (different username) a few weeks back and haven’t bothered to create a new one. Have been strapped to the rocket since jan’21, been through the migrations, etc. I have little to no idea what this Lemmy thing is yet but I see some familiar faces here so I look forward to discuss and learn with/from you! I too am a refugee! I couldn’t stand the censorship. I think it was Gary Gensler being censored that was my final straw… he’s a public official… if he’s saying Book is the way then we should at least be able to talk about that.
