  • Same here, I feel as though I see the Oral-B heads on sale at least once a month, but the Sonicare heads are almost never on sale. Years ago I noticed the Philips Sonicare site running sales around Black Friday, but there haven’t been any for the last couple of Black Fridays.

Every now and again I’ll see discounted heads on Amazon, but I’ve also heard stories that there is a 50/50 chance of getting a knock-off that won’t work with handles - as Amazon combines all of their products for storage regardless of the seller

  • Off the top of my head, you could write a small function and place it in your shell’s start up file (ex: .bashrc). The function would check to see if htop is running under your userid, and if not start it…although depending on the timing you may end up with htop in both sessions.

A second option would be to create a bookmark and set the location to something such as ssh://youruserid@localhost “htop” <- I’ve not tested this, I’ve only bookmarks to ssh into remote systems

It may just be easier to associate the command you need to a 2 or 3 letter alias and simply type that in

  • Definitely! For electronics, Eneloop batteries are worth every penny. I think I have ~10 AA and AAA, and I haven’t bought disposable batteries in years. I try to make sure I have 4 of each available at all times so I don’t have to wait for them to recharge. I’ve tried cheaper (Amazon) batteries, and they fail much more quickly, and sometimes swell to the point where I have a hard time removing them.

Some people say IKEA’s batteries are just rebranded Eneloops, but I haven’t had a chance to try them
