Chromium doesn’t need Chrome to exist either: it’s a separate project and if Google doesn’t want to support it anymore, someone can easily fork it to continue having Chromium-based browsers. That’s the property of open source: anybody can inspect and fork it.
Yes but generally, it’s to find solution, not just to have someone listen and do nothing else. It’s just a bonus I would say if the person listens as well.

Edge and Chrome are both closed source and owned by companies, so your comparison is just not valid. Using AOSP is certainly not supporting Google’s monopoly: AOSP is totally open source, was bought by Google a long time ago and they don’t own it due to its license (aside from the name maybe). Meaning you can still flash Android on a system without paying or using Google’s services or products.
It’s like saying you contribute to Google’s monopoly because you use Linux and Google (also) used it in its Chromebooks.
F-Droid isn’t the only one: I also like Neo Store, which has more than just the F-Droid repository and I think has a better interface. However, I think not all repo are 100% safe because F-Droid verify all the apps they have while Neo-Store doesn’t because it simply list known repos, which you can activate however you like in the settings.
Root can be useful for plenty of reasons: there are many apps which use root access to increase privacy, customize the system, restrict apps, manage battery charging, enforce firewall for apps and system, block trackers, backup the system, etc… I currently have 8 apps (if I don’t count all the lsposed modules) using the root privileges to do all of that but I also use it for other things like automation.
The only kind of security I want to have is privacy from my own apps installed on my system, something root privilege allow me to have. For the rest, I just don’t install any random program on my phone and I didn’t have any problem for years.

I don’t like being categorized as a leftist because being a leftist now is just being radical and crazy and I certainly don’t want to belong to this category. So leftists as we see them certainly don’t listen to both sides, that’s for sure (or those people aren’t numerous enough to have a party we can look for, whatever the country you’re talking about). So I would like to call myself a centrist, as it should mean that you listen to both sides, but centrist are apparently right wings who don’t assume being right wings. Pop!OS is a pretty stable distro, so there shouldn’t be any dependencies problem: you usually have that on arch or arch based distros, even if it’s quite rare. Have you ever uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled it but without some of its dependencies? Or ignored a package it asked you to install with it afterwards? If not, maybe it’s just an update that went wrong, like the PC shut down during an update or something. So update your system, uninstall firefox and reinstall. Your data stored in your home directory (in .mozilla, a hidden folder) like your history, extensions, opened tabs, should be conserved, even if you use apt purge.

Any country where the minimum wage was raised significantly, even if most of the time, it’s the private enterprises which end up paying those workers, we can see a boost of the GDP, which is the metric usually used to measure the consumption (and therefore production) of a country, considering something like 70% of the GDP is direct consumption (don’t remember the exact stat). The simple reason behind it is that if you give people money, they will spend it, paying the companies and people making the stuff so they can make more stuff. How can you except products to be sold if nobody has the money to buy it? And considering a lot of people talk about the price rise and hot having the money to pay this or that, it becomes basic logic, at this point.

Atheism isn’t a religion either: atheism is a lack of belief in the existence of an unproven (and certainly unprovable) entity. So a lack of belief certainly didn’t kill anybody.
And atheism was never the reason or the foundation of the sentence “the end justify the means”, it existed long before atheism was even a concept.
5 minutes is pretty damn low: are you sleep depraved? If so, you must be exhausted at the end of the day or constantly tired throughout the day. The average and normal time (when just being tired and not exhausted at the end of the day) is about 20 minutes. You might want to checked on that and get a better sleep quality as you seem to say you have 6 hours of sleep per day, which isn’t ideal but good enough.
(to complete the comment before me) … and that you assume the technology is also mostly stagnant in the last 2 decades, which it certainly wasn’t, especially in the computer science world. Though it could’ve got much much faster if people were paid more relative to what they produce.
Openboard and Florisboard are pretty good alternatives. I don’t like them though (nor do I prefer Gboard or Swiftkey) as I prefer a type of keyboard very practical to write due to it’s rounded keys, which is Typewise.
Unless it’s a RAM filling issue, because you would have too little RAM, and even then, the entire OS crashing and not just Firefox would be very unlikely, I don’t see any reason for it to crash your entire OS. Regardless, there are Firefox forks that use much much less RAM. You’re using Windows, Mac or Linux first? Try to uninstall, clean everything and reinstall with a new profile, it may work, who knows. If not, then it has to be your OS.

Stating mathematics is a tool doesn’t answer if mathematics are real or not. But I would say, from my humble experience, that mathematics is both unreal and perfectly tangible. Mathematics is totally a real thing as it obeys strict rule in logic that are true in our real world, axioms, on which everything else is based so that it can’t be used to state things as being true out of the blue, without any justification before using those axioms, which you can translate into our real world. But math also has its limits and has been used to demonstrate that it itself is incomplete, undecidable and inconsistant (mathematically, of course, it’s not our common definition here). Meaning, as mathematics are imperfect, it can’t describe our world perfectly and therefore isn’t real.

Though, as a religious person, thinking this way is no more than shooting yourself in the foot, which is quite sad because religion has only two choice: either cultivating the ignorance but going against science, which is wrong, or cultivating knowledge but overtime, disappearing as a religion. When I was talking about “battery charging”, I meant using an app to limit the charging at a certain level: look for “acca” or simple “acc” which is the module/daemon to manage that. You have to be root to do that and there is no way around.
