Weapons Cache and Pipeline all day!
I joined and ran many clans growing up but my first was in Rainbow Six: Rouge Spear. I spent many of hours sniping on bunkers and swearing at each other over Teamspeak. One guy I met took me under his wing and showed me all about each level. The mod scene was pretty good too, granted you had to manually install the mod locally or the server wouldn’t let you in.
My most memorable game was America’s Army. The challenge of the gameplay really drew me and my RL friends in and we ended up making a clan. We liked it so much we rented a legit server so we could get honor on our own turf. Between us and the players coming in it was some of my best time on a shooter.
Just for sheer amount of hours, Counter Strike 1.6 reigns supreme. I remember when I first saw my America’s Army friends playing it and was in awe. The movement was janky compared to America’s Army, but had way faster gameplay and more weapons. At first I had trouble getting the hang of it and it took a while but eventually I could somewhat keep up with them.
Needless to say, I got zero sleep as a kid.
Best: I get to see a lot of aerospace stuff being manufactured.
Worst: The owner’s wife is a dumb bitch.
“Bomb has been planted…” Shit.
The only reason I have Netflix is because I get it through T-Mobile as a last resort. Fuck the state of streaming content. Raise the pirate flag boys!
Castle Crashers. It’s a classic side scroll beatemup with RPG elements. I’ve beaten it a few times both solo and with friends.
Agreed. I wish people would stop caring how others spend their money or what app they use. I thought we left this shit on Reddit.
Sadly my server predated Docker or I would have done this. After I left the community I think they migrated to Docker.
They weren’t asking, I was getting spammed with attempts. I changed the ports and locked down my server. In the end I switched to VPS’s.
Minecraft. When I started out it was fine but when I began to get regular visitors I got DDOSed for days on end and people poking me for ssh access. Never again.
I love Blue Dream. It’s the perfect blend of “Holy shit I’m high” and not being couch-locked.
My boss has been looking for new technicians since I joined but has had no luck. His excuse is the classic “Nobody wants to work”, but then I saw what he’s paying for entry level for the positions. It’s so low you’re better off working at McDonalds or slinging Amazon packages bad.
I never stopped. Streaming services are such a joke.
My friends and I were pissed when we tried to give the game another go after a few years, only to find they did their “vault” system. We all uninstalled real quick.
But were we pissed enough to make threats toward Bungie? No. The Reddit hivemind is pure poison now and I’m glad I left.
I love our Arris modem. It’s definitely rock solid.
It’s worth checking out CP2077 again. They fixed a ton of bugs and added new features as well. Perfect timing before the expansion comes out.
This is cool! I landed on an old Doom WAD review page.
I’m on Xfinity and the only time I’ve gotten a warning was torrenting a movie from a public tracker without a VPN. I switched back to a private tracker and no issues even without a VPN.
Your mileage may vary.
Are you on X11 or Wayland? Steam has crap support for Wayland
