2·12 days agoSeth Meyers’ jokes at Trump’s expense during the 2011 White House Correspondents dinner have been identified by those close to Trump as the moment he decided to seriously run for President.
Seth Meyers made this problem, it’s up to him to fix it. Bonus points if he gets Trump to quit using only jokes.
It’s like they think of they can say whatever they want often enough and enough people will hear it, then suddenly it’s a real fact.

The "international rules-based order no longer exists (maybe it never really existed on the first place). International law isn’t murky here, it’s crystal clear: Israel is committing (yet another) war crime, they’re not even trying to hide it, and the US, the UK, Australia, and a number of other “western democracies” are just looking the other way.
I have a friend who works as a civilian in Defense. Everyone has to acquire and maintain the highest level of security clearance to keep their jobs, and travel to certain overseas countries is verboten because of the risk of foreign intelligence “honeypots”.
Apparently, a senior engineer took a holiday to China 3 months before retirement and didn’t even take the most basic precautions such as keeping quiet about his job and security clearance, so of course he got honey-potted.
He reported it when he got home and his security clearance was pulled, “No big deal, I’m retiring”.
The Chinese said they’d tell his employer what happened, “Go ahead, I already did”, and his wife, “I’m not married”. 😂

Currently in Australia eggs range from US$3.40 for a dozen cage eggs, to US$5.50 for a dozen free range organic.
I think the Harris-Walz campaign was just a touch too genocide-y rather than “safe”

Absolutely the easiest phone OS installation I’ve ever done. Completely web-based and easy enough for anyone to use.
The big hurdle to GrapheneOS is can you do without Google Wallet and other apps that won’t work. The flashing process isn’t something to worry about IMO.
And by some strange coincidence, the media have forgotten their earlier obsession with Presidential aged related cognitive decline.
I stopped visiting reddit when they started screwing around with API access. I’m glad I didn’t wait in the hopes the inevitable wouldn’t happen.
