☝️ This. Their cartridges are mostly retro compilations from classic arcade companies and 8/16 bit home computers and such,
The article poising this as an analogue competitor seems naive.
If you upload a video to YouTube, it has to have a clickbait title 😒
Yeah, I hate that Analogue releases are limited. If you miss the window, you either missed it forever or are willing to pay obscene prices on eBay 😞
As the video says, it doesn’t provide all the functionality that the Analogue Pocket has, but it’s a very good alternative for a decent price!

Yeah, we know…
Carter Pewterschmidt did it first
It would help if you tell us where you are located geographically and what specifically is wrong with it that needs repairing.
Thanks for the explanation, it was just a joke.
How come it’s called Walkman when it doesn’t play cassettes?
I’ll gladly check out any books you’ve written. If you think you can do so much better than Doctorow, it must be really good stuff!
I hope the trend grows. Amazon needs to be abolished, divided, whatever it takes to destroy their monopoly.
Nice! I’ve always wanted a Famicom AV, they look super cool.
Where’s Pidgin? https://pidgin.im/
The Amazon listing says:
I don’t understand why they didn’t make it compatible with Switch and other consoles 8Bit-Do usually supports.
I remember playing this on a friend’s Lynx and I would love to play the Surf game on that! I really enjoyed it at the time. Later I’d play the DOS port and thinking “this is not as fun as I remembered”, but I’m not sure it was an issue with the port itself or that the game wasn’t that good to begin with 😅 I should check it out again…
I’ll add a recommendation for Retro Recipes, I find it pretty chill and wholesome.
Yes, it’s part of Digital Eclipse’s Gold Master Series, like Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story and The Making of Karateka.
From their website:
More than 15 playable classic games from the series’ history are featured, including many being released for the first time outside Japan. Battle your friends in the multiplayer cult favorite Tetris Battle Gaiden, create massive explosions to clear lines in Super Bombliss, and see where it all began in 1984 with an accurate recreation of the first version of Tetris on the Electronika 60 computer.
As the next release in Digital Eclipse’s acclaimed Gold Master Series, Tetris Forever includes over 90 minutes of all-new documentary footage exploring the lifelong friendship and creative partnership between Tetris creator Alexey Pajitnov and The Tetris Company founder Henk Rogers, as they share the extraordinary but true story about Tetris.
And as this celebration wouldn’t be complete without an all-new Tetris experience, prepare to enter the… Tetris Time Warp! Up to four players will “warp” between different eras of Tetris in real time to experience a variety of classic graphic styles and play mechanics!
