Shut-in, keeper of weird hours.
For anyone who is understandably concerned about nuclear energy, I would suggest that they watch this first before making up their minds (it’s from Nova on PBS which I consider to be a generally reliable source).
Thanks! And, uh, you’re confident that this is safe? Sorry to ask again, just need reassurance I guess.
Revisiting this, may I ask where you got the Typewise Pro apk, and also is it safe?
Hi @[email protected], I’m afraid that lemmy.ml might be blocked on Beehaw, but if you do decide to proceed with an open source version of Typewise (Typefool?), please message me and I will seriously consider providing you with a little funding for your efforts.👍

Sorry to hear. On the off chance that this might be helpful instead:
Feel embarrassed and ashamed for posting all this stuff about Threads while the world is burning and people are dying. Everyone wherever you are, please stay cool and safe!
What boggles my mind is that people are apparently moving to Texas, Florida, and the Southwest in droves because (at least in part) “California isn’t nice anymore,” “has too many regulations”, whatever; do these folks know that they’re moving to some of the most heat-stressed and water-stressed parts of the US? I’m guessing that a lot of them will be regretting their decision to move sooner rather than later. But to those who are already there, please do your best to stay cool and safe!
I have fond memories of playing these, but dear god was Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy frustrating! There was another Infocom game, Trinity I think it was, where you needed to get some water or something like that, but you couldn’t put it in an empty boot, you had to have the bucket for it to work. Kind of like playing “guess the mind of the programmer.” Fun times, even so. And then there was Leather Goddesses of Phobos . . . 😊.
