Just a hobbyist programmer.
You hope! Laws will still apply to us peasants
It will probably work. Because, you know, money.
TIL that’s a thing on Lemmy
One of the lucky 10000 I guess
(I do use that feature when it’s available, I just didn’t know Lemmy had it)
There are people that seriously think like this
PipePipe worked for me when stock NewPipe didn’t. YMMV
I use it in conjunction with RiMusic (which I forgot to mention).

Probably a combination of free/libre and gratis. Thing is,I was amazed at the speed of it compared to Windows (at the time I had XP).
My first incursion was with Puppy Linux circa 2010, then Ubuntu circa 2012, and now I want to hop to another distro but don’t know which.
El veloz murciélago hindú comía feliz cardillo y kiwi. La cigüeña tocaba el saxofón detrás del palenque de paja.
One of my first smartphones, I don’t remember the brand, but it was a Chinese knockoff, even had a TV tuner, with a built-in antenna that retracted into the case. I had to stay in the hospital for a few days and it was great. This was back around 2010.
10000 something right now.
It’s 800+ :D
Ha, I went thru that too a while ago.
Finished playing Summon Night Swordcraft Story GBA, playing Ghost Trick Phantom Detective NDS, and started yet again Final Fantasy IV this time on the GBA, all emulated in my Android phone thanks to Lemuroid.
Also started playing Resident Evil 3 PSX on my Android tablet (also Lemuroid).
Lua is the same. Only false
and nil
are “falsey”.
I remember I fixed a bug in a mod for Minetest that assumed 0
was false and caused an infinite loop.
Basically Loopy in Simon Tatham’s Puzzles, available on Linux, Windows, and Android (F-Droid), when I don’t want to be stressed.
Otherwise I just play some retro/old school games like Final Fantasy (started IV a few days ago), (Free)Doom, AssaultCube or Cave Story when on my laptop.
I usually listen to the radio, or let ViMusic (YouTube music algorithm) recommend me songs. Then I use yt-dlp (Seal app on F-Droid) to download them.
I use gimp btw
Edit: Actually, I find GIMP a little bit daunting. I used to use ASEprite which was more than enough for my pixel art needs.
