No, my local public library removed fines a few years ago and added auto-renewal in its place. You get three renewals and then another three-week grace period before they even send you a polite letter that says they might declare it lost if you don’t return it.

I like Liftoff enough that I’ve stopped looking at every new thing that is coming out.

I haven’t seen one in years, and I miss them so much.

I’ve used CC for years and years, and they’ve built the service up so much. I’m still amazed that it’s remained free the entire time.
