That’s nothing. My coworkers node_modules directory will soon require their own NAS and dedicated 10Gbps circuits.

Game. Changer.
I live my life as FOSS-y as possible.
This is the only subscription that I have. $2/mo or $16/yr is not even a blip on most people’s radar.
The OG Sync was the most used app on my phone and tablet.
So download, enjoy, and pay the dev! He’s phenomenal, approachable, and transparent. This isn’t some Flappy Birds knockoff. This is a polished app that allows us to connect with one another more easily. And I’d like to see what features he comes up with next.
It takes a lot for me to trust an app/dev this much. Hopefully everybody else will too and we can help him do even more neat things.
This is so on-brand for Republicans, I’m surprised there wasn’t a “/s” included on the letter.
Veterans? New citizens? More veterans? Teachers? Even more veterans?
All groups that have been reduced to mindless virtue signals by gatekeeping Conservatives who have zero intention of doing anything to actually help any of these groups.
Red voters don’t care that this behavior is morally indefensible and monstrous on its face. They don’t care that the founder of their own religion would have been aghast at how casually evil his follows have become.
Seriously. If the historical Jesus knew what his religious revival would lead to, the genocides and wars, he would have made his own cross on his first day of carpentry school.
And it’ll only be a matter of time before conservative candidates will have to kowtow to these dangerous busybodies.
“Mr. President, there’s a group of bored, angry, middle aged white women out here wanting to speak to the manager.”
Have to agree. It’s a relic of a much different time. With more women in the workforce and marriage rates dropping, being a divorcee no longer carries the stigma that it once did.
I’m okay with familial support being weighted to whomever has primary custody of any children.
And if there was a major discrepancy in net worth, like the Bezos fiasco, it seems fair to split things up more evenly.
It’s a very touchy subject. I don’t want to be even remotely associated with the “men’s rights” shitstorm. But I would like to see more of these antiquated, gender-based laws get modernized.
I was in South Texas a few months ago (not my idea).
At a local H.E.B. There was a rack of Pride merchandise including t-shirts and bumper stickers that said “Y’all includes ‘all’”
They were on clearance so my cynical brain leapt to the conclusion that nobody was buying them. Nooope. They were being destroyed and otherwise vandalized while on the shelf. This was happening so often that the manager decided that it was costing more to keep them on the shelves than the goodwill of the queer community was worth to him.
Wake me up when a corporation does more than the absolute minimum during Pride. Otherwise it’s just more sociopathic virtue signaling from organizations that would happily sell Khmer Rouge branded glasses if they thought it would increase shareholder value.
It has all of the hallmarks of a successful media franchise.
OG Jewish Christianity: The one-off movie that unexpectedly took off.
Pre dogmatic canon: That time you let Sony try to make a CD ROM version.
Post dogmatic canon: Bought out by a major corporation. Maintaining continuity becomes compulsory.
Islam: Darker! Edgier!
Gnosticism: A writer attends a cocaine party with his Neo Platonist buddies.
Crusades and Inquisition: DMCA for a different millennium.
Reformation: Fan fic writers rejoice!
Counter Reformation: Nuh uh!
Anglican Schism: What if we made this into a light hearted cartoon?
Mormons: Somebody tells a producer’s son, an aspiring writer, that there is no such thing as a bad idea. As it turns out, this is incorrect.
Modern Evangelicalism: Judge Dredd and The Punisher make tender love.
I think Florida schools are way ahead of you.
First comment. Looking forward to the new(ish) community full of familiar faces.
I have a weird request to the other Redfugees: I had considered going through and nuking my entire post history for all of my accounts. But then I realized that a lot of the advice that I’ve given on /linux and /python would be lost. I’m not a master at either, but I like to think that I’ve helped people out.
So before deleting everything as a (justified!) middle finger to a terrible CEO, take into account that what you’ve written is a part of a tapestry of internet history. 99.99% is trite. But you never know what future generations will find interesting or useful.
Just my $0.02.
I’ll help you for a nominal fee if I can keep the tip.
