I mean, Alt-J just aren’t that great live. I feel like they pitch-correct most of the vocals on the studio albums… I also like An Awesome Wave best but I think This Is All Yours is very very good too. But we don’t talk about the later stuff.
I love Return to the Sauce. So good.
That’s why so few people yarrr music. It’s pretty much accessible everywhere, on different platforms, for reasonable prices, with mostly good UIs. I mean, there’s always that person who has 10+ TB of FLAC files on their server and good for them but most people just pay the [equivalent of 10 USD] per month (or less on a family plan) to get access to everything at a reasonable quality (I mean, you get 1400 Kbit/s FLACs with Deezer Premium). As other people here have said, it’s always an access and convenience thing.

When you were born, they threw you three times and only caught you twice.

Because they’d rather sell you a new phone than have you repair your device so it lasts longer. It’s capitalism at work. Same reason why everyone and their mom is moving their products to a subscription model. They want that steady flow of revenue rather than a one-off purchase price. I hate it but that’s what everything goes towards.
I could see someone wanting to change their display glass and if that’s not feasible due to availability or cost I could see that as a valid reason for a new phone but I agree that the battery is by far the biggest reason to change a phone.
