    As somebody in the southwest, this year will likely be the second year in a row that we have a heavy monsoon season which will bring much needed rain to the deserts during the hottest months. After the above average rain across the west in Winter, it will continue to lessen drought conditions.

    It’s interesting to be having a “positive” effect to climate change. It will make for a better summer here but ultimately it’s still a sign of a dysfunctional ecosystem. I try to count the little blessings and stay positive.

      I’m curious, do you guys classically call them monsoons? It looks like it from my perspective.
