There was a good discussion last night on the PP show featuring Ross Brown of Oracle, presumably the very same @[email protected] who has graced us with his presence on this Lemmy instance. Assuming the Lemmy account here is one and the same person and not an imposter.

The segment is about an hour long, it is worth a listen. Ross is an executive with Oracle and has a great deal of knowledge and experience and is a great participant in our community.

reddit thread of the segment

Among many of the great things discussed, Ross said:

“building on the comment of: ‘do other execs know about this [the narrative of BBBY, GME, Teddy]?’ I do have to tell you since I wrote that on Twitter, a ton of folks from the industry that I know, and all levels – devops, folks in partner alliance roles, folks in other companies, on other side of the table on deals we’ve been on and stuff, have all written me and been like ‘yea im in it too, yea yea, we’ve been in it since the beginning, we’re all in’, i tell you there’s almost like a conspiratorial tone about being publicly identified with this, where folks are coming in and like ‘you know im really excited about this too’”

Ross talks a little bit about why he has DRS’d his shares of BBBY and GME

Also, there was a pretty good joke here, Ross said to guest Micheal who holds his shares in Robinhood: " [when he was really little?], i bought my kids a Little Tikes car, the little plastic one and stuff like that, and then when they turned 16 I got them a real car – you’re still in the Little Tikes brokerage account"

I DRS all my long stocks. It’s the only way to guarantee they aren’t being used as locates to short the stock.
