Interested to see how Lemmy works and am a fan of any form of decentralized tech, web3, DeFi, Mastodon, etc! Been in the GME game for a long time now.

Always been more of a lurker, but hope to see Lemmy usage grow. I only have 7 more days left of Reddit in me.

        @VeniVidiVici

        It’s somewhat tedious initially.

        1. copy the URL of the post on Lemmy (https://lemmy.whynotdrs.org/post/3319)
        2. Open Mastodon
        3. Paste the URL into the search box
        4. Interact with the post

        But after having done this, any further replies will show up as notifications in Mastodon which you can then easily reply to or interact with like any other post that shows up on Mastodon.

          @VeniVidiVici

          Another thing that is worth doing is, from Mastodon, search for the users on the Lemmy instance (e.g. in the search box put in ‘@VeniVidiVici@ lemmy.whynotdrs.org’ , with no space), and then on the profile page from Mastodon click on the little bell button to subscribe to post notifications from the user.

          Then, anyone that makes a post on Lemmy that you have notifications turned on for will show up as a notification in Mastodon.

    It’s a bummer because I feel like they are successful to an extent of silencing us. True apes will carry on buying hodling and DRSing, but reaching new apes to join us in Valhalla and to shorten the time to get there seems to be more and more difficult the last couple months
