    This guy’s name shows up all over the GA indictment, including lots of calls and emails to a bunch of people. This guy knows stuff. Interesting that they think he’s a reliable witness. If I was one of the other co-defendents, my nervousness level would be going from 99.9 to 99.9999.

      Yup. He’s probably got a deal, completely reliant on being a good witness first, then he’ll get a drastically reduced sentence. Either that or he feels safer in prison. I’d say 50/50 odds.

    The South came out of me when I read this; I involuntarily emitted the special version of “oh shit”, where the first vowel is halfway between “oh” and “aw”, elongated, and rising in pitch.

    I turned into Gomer Pyle for a second is what I’m saying.

      Just recently started rewatching the G Pyle USMC show… gotta admit that the man’s leagues ahead of his time, even if he’s the butt of any “but from Mayberry” jokes.
