I’m in the LA area. Glad that we’re staying above freezing, especially in the wake of the fires.
But seriously, it feels like we’re getting these humongous weather patterns fairly regularly now. Maybe someone should investigate what’s going on with our global climate and causing these.
I recognize it was sarcasm, but in case you have any people in your life that argue that this cold snap disproves climate change, NOAA made this nice graphic to show what’s causing the unusual cold.
Don’t bother, they’re not arguing in good faith.

For our non-American friends, subzero in Fahrenheit is actually cold. Not like that pansy Celsius subzero which is barely chilly.

I’d ask what it is, but I know the conversion doesn’t make sense unless it’s -40
That is my favorite temperature to convert between the two.
