What I really need is a huge “signature” panel under every comment I make.
Every once in awhile I visit an old forum that allowed obnoxiously long signatures with huge banners and gifs in them. I won’t miss that.

That seems short sighted, for example the very popular voyager client doesn’t show any profile pictures. I wasn’t even aware those are a thing. I dont want one either though.
It’s just easier to notice than a name, but some users have eye catching names too, some use emojis for example.

I’ve been using them a lot and I will say that it makes Identifying people way easier. I notice “regulars” now way more than before because of their unique pp. Whether that’s a good thing or not I’ve no idea.
I don’t mind identifying people based on their unique pp but I find that quite NSFW
