In early 2023, WhyDRS was approached by We The Investors and asked to participate in a video meet with SEC Chairman Gary Gensler. The main topic would be Direct Registration, and the WhyDRS team was asked to write a packet which would describe several of the benefits and structural advantages of holding securities in one’s own name.
