That’s begs a question about this server. Does it make sense to have something like an “AcrossTheApeiverse” community here specifically for crossposting ape content from other platforms/servers?
It would represent the exact opposite of gatekeeping and maybe help this Lemmy server become the go-to home for apes.
We could definitely have a community focused on crossposts - but I’m not seeing the advantage to that as opposed to users simply crossposting into the community here which is most aligned with the topic of the initial post?
Yeah that’s the better idea. Just wanted to highlight the idea that we may benefit from proactively aggregating ape-related content as opposed to being another silo. That may have already been implied, though.
