Pixel 8a, Galaxy S25, iPhone 16 and 16e are all smaller.
Stick with it for now, just be aware they need to make money at some point.
I’m hesitant to promote vc-funded software, but Tailscale would probably the simplest setup for VPN.
Irish person who swears a lot here (to the point of being reprimanded by US-based HR at work), you’re taking a massive risk saying “cunt” in a professional setting. Getting fired rather than reprimanded seems pretty harsh though.
Fuck me, tell me someone else has risen to effective project lead since then?
I didn’t see anything about a backdoor at the link.
If you think that’s bad, try living in Ireland. I like it here 😆
I wouldn’t buy domains from Cloudflare from a risk mitigation perspective. At work I direct six figures of budget their way annually, but as a free-tier customer in my personal life I don’t trust them not to fuck up at some point and lock my account. If I register my domain elsewhere I can bring myself back online by moving the nameservers. If it’s registered at Cloudflare I’m fucked.
The fuck is Forejo. I’m running a personal Forgejo instance and have contributed to the project. It is not for-profit.
I don’t know what you’re running there mate, Forgejo is a golang app.
I don’t like EA, but if they keep going in this direction I may start buying some of their games again.
You can install adb and use adb reboot recovery
In fairness, maybe they’re called Android Headlines for a reason 😆
However, instead of having a flat camera bar like the rest of the Pixel 9 lineup, it’s going to be flush with the back of the phone.
It might just be more poor wording, but flush means no bump of any kind.
It’ll sport a flat camera bump
That’s a weird way of saying it won’t have a camera bump.
Many have moved to or added the GitHub registry. It’s still a corporate controlled registry, but Microsoft are far more likely (and able) to eat the cost for developer goodwill.
I’ve got a registry running on my homelab that I haven’t quite moved fully over to yet.
You must be used to this by now.
For anyone else wondering, he’s talking about Sync for Lemmy.
I’m really enjoying the game, but also agree with the article. Still, it doesn’t detract too much from the experience imo.
