Friend of mine actually does this. It’s a rather lucrative business model. Yeah, it’s bad for the environment—but why give a fuck? He nor I live there anyway. Hence, it’s not our problem. Let the next generation deal with the consequences.
Alternatively you can cut it down and count the rings. HTH
